Inspire Our YouthMission Statement Building hope, in the hearts & minds of our youth.
Inspire Our Youth was created by Fred Sarkari - Leadership for Life. We believe that every individual has what it takes to achieve the life that they know they are destined to live; therefore our purpose is to create awareness of inspiration that already exists within our youth. By instilling; desire, direction, passion and most importantly purpose, they may continue to create their own belief system enabling them to lead a full and productive life.
Remember when, as a child you believed you could be anything you desired with no sense of fear and would one day rule the world? Unfortunately our society does not support such childhood passions, drive and vision. Inspire Our Youth's mission is: Building hope, in the hearts & minds of our youth. Creating awareness in our youth so that regardless of their life circumstances, or environment, they will be able to achieve whatever they envision for themselves. By instilling in our youth desire, direction, passion and most importantly purpose, we will keep the dreams of our youth alive. The greatest gift bestowed upon us is the power of choice in any circumstance that surrounds us.
What do the achievers in our society, those who we admire, be it a famed sports personality, wealthy business person, an Oscar winning actor or an acclaimed chef, have in common? They believe in themselves. Believing in yourself is the fundamental foundation to achieving what you want out of life, regardless of your background, education, gender, or anything else. Time and time again we see examples of someone overcoming great odds to achieve their goal, due to the fact that they believed in themselves. The list is endless; Thomas Edison, Terry Fox, Helen Keller, etc.
There's nothing stronger in this world than a heart that knows what it wants.
The difference, that determines how our life unfolds, is within each of us. Inspire Our Youth understands that in many of our youth this difference needs to be emphasized, for awareness always precedes change. The cycle that leads, almost as if predetermined, to a life of underachievement, can only be broken through self-belief. Inspire Our Youth believes we can make a big difference in this world by being more aware of our most precious gift, our children. By investing in our children, providing them with the right nourishment in order to help them to flourish, this will enable them to become all that they are capable of. This will make our world a much better place for all. Inspire Our Youth will make a difference in the minds of our youth, one youth at a time.
Once a person truly believes in themselves they become unstoppable. This is because a fundamental psychological truth starts coming into play. How you view yourself determines how others view you. If you believe yourself to be someone with considerable abilities and drive to succeed, that self-perception will propel you to greater accomplishments. On the other hand, if you view yourself as someone who is a victim of circumstances or robbed of significant opportunities of success, you subconsciously set the stage for failure. Ironically most young people tend to believe in everything and everyone but themselves. They are in constant search for mentors and role models, when in fact they exist within them.
Dr. Joyce Brothers, well-known author and psychologist said, "An individual's self-concept (what they believe about themselves) is the core of their personality. It affects every aspect of human behavior; the ability to learn, the capacity to grow and change, the choice of friends, mates and careers. It's no exaggeration to say that a strong positive self-image (self-belief) is the best possible preparation for success in life."
In order to create a value based family life Inspire Our Youth not only works with our youth, but with their parents. As parents we need to set the example of what defines leadership so our children can be tomorrow's leaders. Today's youth need to develop a way of thinking that will instill life-long values they will need in order to prosper, to fight for what is right, to fight for what they believe, to become the person they know within themselves to be no matter the obstacles they are facing.
